Honouring our elders
Many elderly people in our villages live alone, far from family and without enough support. READ surrounds them with care — day care, free health camps, companionship and help claiming the pensions and welfare they’re owed.
Care, company and dignity
Old age can be lonely and hard in rural areas. Our programme makes sure no elder is forgotten — with regular health check-ups, nutrition, gentle exercise and a community that visits and listens.
READ staff also help elders navigate paperwork to access government pensions and welfare schemes, so they receive every benefit available to them.
